Position Summary: They are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This is a critical leadership role overseeing financial reporting, system implementations, and month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead Month-End and Year-End Close: Oversee and coordinate timely and accurate closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and management reports. Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies; prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses. System Implementation: Play a key role in the implementation and optimization of ERP/accounting systems, driving process improvements and automation. Standard Costing: Assist in developing and maintaining standard costing methodologies, analyzing variances, and supporting operational decision-making. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, supply chain, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data and drive efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred). 7 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. Hands-on experience with standard costing, inventory accounting, and ERP system implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
