Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst III to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing accurate financial reports, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Based in Englewood, Colorado, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while driving efficiency and process improvements. Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly payments and accruals for network transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. • Perform detailed reconciliations of payments and accruals, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues as needed. • Analyze large data sets using advanced tools to calculate payments and accruals, and generate financial analytics and reporting. • Develop and utilize financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes. • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities by tracking and analyzing operational metrics. • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy. • Research budget and forecast variances using operational and financial data, providing insights into results. • Create and review journal entries during monthly and year-end close processes. • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying risks and recommending enhancements. • Collaborate on audits and streamline efforts related to research, analysis, and tracking of audit findings.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 5-8 years of experience in financial analysis, public accounting, or a similar work environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of Essbase, Oracle, and database tools such as Teradata and Microsoft Visual Studio. • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and payment processing. • Ability to work independently while exercising solid judgment and discretion.
