Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive
leadership team in Aurora, Colorado. This role will be pivotal in
shaping the financial strategy, ensuring robust accounting
practices, and driving operational excellence across a
multi-location enterprise. The successful candidate will play a
critical role in scaling the organization while fostering growth
and disciplined decision-making. Responsibilities: • Oversee all
finance and accounting operations, including budgeting,
forecasting, and financial reporting. • Develop and implement
strategies for cash flow management, capital allocation, and
equipment financing. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
and strengthen internal controls across financial functions. •
Create integrated management reporting systems that combine
financial and operational data for strategic insights. • Manage
relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, insurers, and
risk management partners. • Collaborate with operational leaders to
optimize pricing models, fleet utilization, and return on
investment analyses. • Direct financial planning and
decision-making for multi-entity operations at both domestic and
international levels. • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing
accounting and financial planning team aligned with organizational
goals and culture. • Drive modernization initiatives and system
upgrades to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities.
• Partner with senior leadership to assess and execute long-term
growth strategies.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field is required; advanced certifications such as CPA or
MBA are preferred. • A minimum of ten years of progressive
leadership experience in finance, including prior CFO or equivalent
roles. • In-depth knowledge of cost accounting, capital asset
management, and financial operations for multi-location
enterprises. • Proven ability to lead and execute system
implementations or modernization projects successfully. •
Exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with lenders,
investors, and executive teams. • Strong leadership and mentoring
abilities to build and sustain high-performing finance teams. •
Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic planning
and operational execution. • Industry experience in equipment
rental, construction services, or other capital-intensive sectors
is highly desirable.
