Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to work in a K-12 school setting, serving students at the
junior high level. This contract role runs from ASAP through May
21, 2026, and is ideal for professionals skilled in special
education instruction looking to support a caseload of 25 students.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized
education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
Provide specialized instruction and support to ensure academic
progress Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and
support staff to create inclusive learning environments Monitor
student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Participate in regular team meetings and student evaluations
Qualifications and Skills: Valid special education teaching
certification or licensure Experience teaching special education
students in a junior high or middle school setting preferred
Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students Strong
communication and collaboration skills Knowledge of best practices
in differentiated instruction and behavior management Work
Schedule:The tentative schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM
to 3:15 PM. Location:This position is based in Pueblo, CO, serving
a junior high school within a K-12 environment. Professional
