Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to support an elementary school setting in Longmont, CO.
This full-time contract position runs from February 10, 2026,
through May 22, 2026, offering a structured schedule with class
hours from 7:35 AM to 3:05 PM. The role involves managing a
caseload of 9 students, collaborating closely with two
paraeducators and a team of specialists, including a psychologist,
BCBA, occupational/physical therapists, and speech-language
pathologists. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction
tailored to students with autism and diverse learning needs. Employ
effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and
structured learning environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and communicate regularly
with families and team members. Ensure compliance with educational
standards and district policies for special education services.
Qualifications: Extensive experience working with elementary-aged
students with autism. Proven skills in classroom management within
a special education setting. Valid teaching license or
certification for special education. Ability to work onsite
full-time during specified hours. Location: Longmont, CO
