Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher specializing in Autism to work full-time in an elementary
school setting in the Aurora area. This role involves leading a
center-based program designed to serve K-5 students with special
needs. The program includes 10 elementary-aged students, supported
by seven paraprofessionals whom the teacher will supervise. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with autism.
Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure
effective classroom support. Deliver instruction and interventions
aligned with best practices in special education. Monitor student
progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate
with families, school staff, and related service providers to
promote student success. Maintain compliance with state regulations
and district policies. Qualifications: Active Colorado Teaching
License with a Special Education Generalist endorsement. Experience
working with elementary-aged students (K-5) in a special education
setting. Strong knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and related
instructional strategies. Ability to lead and manage classroom
support staff. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Position Details: Location: Eastern side of Denver/Aurora area.
School: Elementary center-based program. Schedule: Full-time,
Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Duration: Contract
position ending 5/21/26, starting as soon as possible. Benefits
