Job Description:
Summit High School in beautiful Summit County, Colorado is
seeking a dynamic coach and educator to serve as Varsity Assistant
for the boy’s basketball program program beginning in the 2026-27
school year. Under the direction of the athletic director and
Summit High School administration and in accordance with Summit
School District policies, procedures and CHSAA regulations, the
Varisty Assistant Boys Basketball coach shall suppoort and
contribute to the SHS Boy's Basketball program. Characteristics and
qualities to include: Demonstrates a commitment to supporting a
safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment. Conforms with
a program foundation built on excellent communication, trust and
positive engagement. Prepared to consistently provide basketball
and team building feedback to the Head Coach. Has the ability and
desire to bring fresh ideas to the program and a willingness to
collaborate. Supports a student-first approach with basketball
skill and fundamental development, improvement and competetive
success. Serves as a positive role model as well as an exemplary
representative of Summit High School. Promotes basketball in Summit
County and builds relationships with the community and
constituents. Qualifications: High school diploma High school
and/or college playing experience preferred 3 or more years of
coaching experience preferred Please inlcude a cover letter

basketball and coaching. NOTE: There is curently no teaching
postion associated with this position. Hiring Range: $391.50 -
$861.30 weekly. Review of applications will begin on April 15 and
