Security Clearance Status: Not Required This position is in a
machine shop environment and requires a team-oriented individual
who will set up and operate CNC lathe and mill machinery. You will
also support various processes to produce parts for the aerospace
industry. What You Will Do: Operation of CNC lathes (primarily),
provide backup operations on CNC mills and other manual equipment.
You will be expected to set-up and run machines on a wide variety
of operations involving multiple machines that convert raw
materials to precision semi-finished goods within print tolerance
specification. Make offset adjustments as needed to maintain
engineering specifications. You will be required to obtain
Certified Operator certification through on-the-job training &
testing. Maintain proper condition of measuring instruments
Maintain proper cutting conditions on machining centers Meet or
exceed required output hours Use fixtures or gauges to verify
accomplish dimensional checks. Performs other duties as required
and available for overtime as necessary. Communicate with
co-workers and supervisors to coordinate activities. Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g.
G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related
discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer: Operate single turret or twin spindle CNC
Lathe Machines with Live Tooling capabilities. Ability to read and
interpret engineering drawings as well as understand basic work
instructions for product fabrication General knowledge, skills, and
understanding with hand and power tools to include, rotary tooling,
sanding devices, manual deburring tools, wrenches, etc. Strong
interpersonal skills. Basic PC skills for data entry, timecard and
production time entries Proficiency with precision measuring and
fixed gauge equipment (micrometers, calipers, electronic height
gauges, etc.) Intermediate knowledge of shop math skills.
Experience operating CNC lathes and mills in a manufacturing

$39.31. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
