Surgical Tech Location: Aurora, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,441 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current CST certification required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - OR Charge Nurse Experience - Trauma Level II experience Description: The unit offers a total of 11 operating rooms. There are 53 staff members assigned to the unit. The night shift includes 1 Charge Nurse and 1 tech in-house, along with one trauma team on-call, one neuro tech on-call, and one heart team on-call. The patient ratio is 2:1. The type of equipment used in the operating room is advanced. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include general surgeries, neuro/spine surgeries, cardiovascular-thoracic (CVT), orthopedic surgeries, gynecological (GYN) surgeries, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
