experience preferred Description: Unit Notes: Hiring Process
includes profile review and an interview with unit manager. Radius
for candidates is 60 miles, and a driver’s license must be
submitted. Clinicians should be available for the week of
orientation, even if the initial modules are remote. Department:
Pharmacy Tech Common duties include sterile compounding, restocking
of medication dispensing systems, restocking code trays and kits,
and answering phones and medication-related messages. Pharmacy
Techs will be required for day shifts and weekend shifts. No double
backs or night shifts are required. Weekend requirements include
working every other weekend. Holidays are rotating but will not be
required during this contract. No on-call shifts are required.
Medication dispensing systems will include Pyxis and a main
pharmacy carousel. Scrubs will be provided by the facility, and
there will be department-specific orientation. A cancellation
policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week
assignment. Charting will be performed using EPIC. This position
does not require a BSN. All required certifications must be in
place prior to starting the position. This role is in an acute care
