This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience in diagnostic imaging who is looking to apply their expertise in radiographic procedures. The role involves performing X-ray examinations accurately and safely, ensuring quality imaging results in alignment with physician specifications. Key responsibilities include: Performing diagnostic X-ray procedures using appropriate imaging equipment Educating, positioning, and immobilizing patients to achieve optimal radiographic results Coordinating examinations efficiently to maintain continuity and timeliness of patient care Submitting images and clinical information for radiologist review and evaluation Maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols (ALARA) Administering contrast agents as per radiologist protocols Following infection prevention guidelines and sterile technique Managing department supplies and documentation accurately Supervising and evaluating student radiographers during clinical rotations Communicating effectively with patients, radiologists, and healthcare team members Ideal candidates possess strong technical skills in radiology imaging, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.
