UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered care, seeks a dedicated and experienced Mgr Patient Safety RN to join our nonprofit health system. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing patient safety standards across our hospitals and outpatient facilities. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that monitor and improve patient safety, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, while embodying our commitment to top-quality care in every patient interaction. Lead patient safety initiatives and develop improvement programs. Analyze data from safety incidents and create strategies for prevention. Conduct regular safety audits and prepare detailed reports. Train and mentor staff on latest patient safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain accreditation standards. Stay updated with state and federal healthcare safety regulations. Strong leadership and organization skills Expertise in data analysis and safety auditing Proficiency in healthcare regulations and patient safety standards Excellent communication and training skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred
