Experience: Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required License:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a
valid compact state required Certifications: Basic Life Support
(BLS) required Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Must-Have: Minimum of
an Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after July 1, 2018
Description: This position is responsible for caring for antepartum
patients. The role includes laboring patients through childbirth,
recovery, and postpartum care. Lactation education and assistance
are also provided. Family-centered care for well newborns and those
in the Level 2 Nursery is essential. The position assures expert
and compassionate individualized nursing care for patients and
families. Collaboration with providers, staff, and other team
members is expected to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Daily
patient flow must be overseen to optimize care, safety, and
satisfaction. The ability to triage incoming patient requests for
services is required. Patient education to facilitate care plans
and promote wellness is necessary. Delegation of care according to
state statutes must be demonstrated. Competent healthcare
assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills are
essential. Handling high volumes of patient requests for
medications, information, and assistance is expected. Medication
administration, performing treatments, and assisting in procedures
must be carried out, adhering to safety guidelines. Coordination of
patient care with other practices is essential for achieving high
levels of care and satisfaction. The ability to work independently
with minimal supervision is required. Excellent service delivery
through advocacy for safety and optimal communication is essential.
The position requires modeling of the principles of a Just Culture
