Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures to produce high-quality imaging results in line with physician specifications. This role requires proficiency in operating X-ray and related imaging equipment, patient positioning, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities include: - Conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures accurately and efficiently. - Operating all X-ray imaging and associated equipment appropriately. - Educating and positioning patients while immobilizing as needed to ensure quality imaging. - Coordinating examinations to promote timeliness and continuity of patient care. - Following provider imaging orders precisely and submitting images plus clinical information to Radiologists for evaluation. - Evaluating image quality to ensure clarity and diagnostic value. - Communicating clearly and professionally with patients, healthcare team members, Radiologists, and leadership. - Managing departmental supplies responsibly and maintaining sterilization and infection prevention protocols. - Handling multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. - Safely transferring patients and administering contrast media as prescribed by Radiologists. - Adhering to Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to protect patients and staff. - Supervising and assessing Student Radiographers during clinical training. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Certification as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credentials. - Experience with diagnostic imaging and X-ray technology. - Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care techniques. - Effective communication and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment.
