Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role is pivotal in providing top-level care to patients with critical heart conditions. Our CVICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and as part of our team, you will be instrumental in implementing complex treatment plans, guided by a commitment to patient-centered care. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment. Work collaboratively with other team members and specialists to implement patient-specific treatment plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Support a holistic approach in the intensive care setting with a focus on patient outcomes. Engage in continuous education to maintain a high level of competence in caring for cardiovascular and critically ill patients. Strong ability to operate complex medical equipment Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license valid in the state of Colorado BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred CCRN (Certification for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Critical Care Nurses) beneficial
