Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered care in Colorado, is
seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our Women and Infants team. This position offers a unique
opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on
providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. As an RN
in our Women and Infants unit, you will be integral in ensuring the
health and well-being of both mothers and children from pregnancy
through postpartum. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary
healthcare team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
tailored to the unique needs of our patients. Provide direct
nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures,
and protocols of UCHealth. Monitor patient conditions and assess
their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other medical
professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for
any side effects. Educate patients and their families on disease
prevention and postnatal care. Prepare patients for and assist with
examinations or treatments. Maintain accurate patient medical
records and monitor vital signs within both antepartum and
postpartum areas. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to make critical decisions under pressure
Comprehensive knowledge of neonatal and maternal healthcare
Proficiency in managing multiple priorities Strong observational
and diagnostic skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of
Colorado BLS/CPR Certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
certification Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred but not
required
