Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist
Fellow, specializing in Hand Therapy, to join our dynamic team.
This position offers the unique opportunity to advance your
expertise in occupational therapy with a focus on hand
rehabilitation, under the guidance of experienced professionals in
a patient-centered environment. The fellow will actively
participate in providing exceptional care and developing
comprehensive treatment plans for patients with various hand
conditions. Evaluate and treat patients with hand injuries and
conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans based on
patient-specific needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
to provide holistic care. Participate in ongoing education and
training in hand therapy techniques. Document patient progress and
adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their
families on home care and preventive measures. Strong skills in
patient assessment and treatment planning. Proficiency in hand
therapy techniques and interventions. Ability to work
collaboratively within a healthcare team. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Occupational Therapist or
eligible for licensure in the state of Colorado. Certification in
Hand Therapy (CHT) preferred or willingness to obtain certification
during fellowship.
