Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit health system, is
seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist
to join our dynamic inpatient acute care team. This role involves
providing specialized speech and language therapy to patients with
communication and swallowing disorders due to acute health
conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to
develop and implement tailored treatment plans that adhere to the
highest standards of patient care. This is an exceptional

health and recovery. Assess and diagnose patients with speech,
language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific needs in
collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Document patient
progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and
outcomes. Educate patients and their families about communication
and swallowing disorders, including prevention and management
strategies. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all
federal, state, and local regulations regarding speech pathology.
Expert knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and
practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability
to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience
with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Capacity to manage a
high caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
