Job Description:
Join UCHealth, a renowned Colorado-based, nonprofit healthcare
system, as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Virtual Health to
enhance patient care using advanced virtual health technologies.
This role focuses on providing top-tier remote nursing services to
acute care patients, leveraging digital tools to monitor, assess,
and manage patient care remotely. The RN will work collaboratively
with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure that each patient
receives compassionate, efficient, and effective healthcare. This
position represents a unique blend of nursing skills and
technological proficiency, aimed at reducing hospital readmission
rates and facilitating optimal patient outcomes from the comfort of
the Virtual Health Center. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
nursing care for acute patients remotely. Monitor patient health
data and respond to changes in condition through digital tools and
platforms. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other
healthcare professionals to develop and modify individualized care
plans. Provide patient and family education remotely on health
conditions and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records
and document all care provided. Participate in continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance virtual health services. Strong
clinical skills with a focus on acute care nursing Proficiency in
using healthcare technology platforms Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage care
plans effectively Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred
