UCHealth, a renowned nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, seeks an experienced CT XR Technologist to serve as a Float between hospitals and outpatient facilities. In this crucial role, you will leverage cutting-edge radiographic technology to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging in a Fast Support and Emergency Department (FSED) setting, ensuring exceptional patient care consistent with UCHealth's commitment to excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team across multiple locations, adapting to varied environments while maintaining high standards of radiologic practice. Perform computed tomography and radiographic exams across multiple UCHealth facilities. Adhere to safety protocols and radiation dose standards to ensure patient and staff safety. Assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of patient health issues in an FSED setting. Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiologic equipment, troubleshooting as necessary. Document and record patient information and imaging results, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss diagnostic procedures and outcomes. Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns. Proficiency in computed tomography and general radiography. Ability to adapt to diverse healthcare settings and patient needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Technical skills in operating and troubleshooting radiologic equipment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current ARRT certification. Valid state radiologic technologist license. CPR certification preferred.
