Weekends off and home daily, with the exception of up to one to two nights per week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain work records, logs, and time sheets. Perform pre & post-trip inspections. Convey loads to their destination in a safe and timely manner. Inspect material securing equipment such as cables, chains, binders, and straps and inform supervisor of any defects in need of attention. Secure all materials properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulation Assist with loading and unloading of materials and coordinate activities of workers helping to load and unload. Wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment while on all job sites. Operate in a team atmosphere and assist supervisor and co-workers in the performance of duties. CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: CDL Class A license required Medical Card required Good knowledge of roads on the required route. Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds Able to participate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds and maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: C ompetitive Wages Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) with employer contributions.
