Are you ready to use your leadership and skills in a process improvement management position? This is your opportunity! As a Process Improvement Manager I, you will manage the definition, analysis, and implementation of process improvements in pursuit of operational excellence and the achievement of strategic objectives. You will partner with process owners and leadership to ensure integration and alignment of the operational excellence process with business strategies and priorities. You will support the effective implementation of the performance evaluation, risk management, change management, internal audit, and corrective action processes.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited university
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100
  • Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of process failure modes and effects analysis (PFMEA)
  • Knowledge of process approach and systems thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances


  • Typically, 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Capability Maturing Model Integration (CMMI)
  • Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred (or, must be willing to immediately take steps to attain)
  • Experience with program management processes, standards & certification


This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.  The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $101,774.67 - $139,940.19

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
